How much weight do you gain during your period? Ok, if the title does no tell you, boys, to come back another day maybe a warning sign will help.
I was a little depressed when I jumped on the scale this morning and saw an increase of 3.8lbs. It’s a given that I would have an increase of weight due to my period is on its way. There is always a weight gain 1-2 weeks before it “officially” gets here. It’s just a hard pill to swallow when I was so close to the 130’s. I will not let it get me down, though….or try to let it not get me down.
It’s also sad because I have pictures that getting done in 2 weeks and I have this crap I am dealing with. I’m not at fault, though. I did add a significant about of salt to my diet yesterday. I’m drinking plenty of water today and going forth to try to flush out some of the damage I caused.
I did some research online to see what the healthy weight gain during “that time of the month” is, and it looks like anywhere from 2-8lbs. Wow, 8lbs in a month is a significant increase.
I found this also:
These are the symptoms of PMS.

Mood swings, irritability or anger (CHECK)

Joint or muscle pain (NO..NOT REALLY)
A headache (MAYBE THAT’S WHERE THE HEADACHE IS COMING FROM)
Fatigue (medical) (NOT REALLY)

Worsening of existing skin disorders, and respiratory (e.g., allergies, infection) or eye (e.g., visual disturbances, conjunctivitis) problems (NO)
So, I’m curious…how much weight and when do you gain it at that time of the month? The more stress I have, the worse my symptoms are. I have to keep a bottle of Tylenol PM so I can try to get some sleep. It is bad for up to 2 weeks before my period comes. Once my period is here, I feel thinner and don’t normally have a problem with cramps. I drink plenty of water, and the apple cider vinegar helps with cramps.
