So, apparently I Want To Pee On A Ketone Strip and I can’t explain why. In case you did not know Greg was down with the flu from last week and decided to learn more about keto. His new plan is to make amazing meals to show me there are lots of options I can choose from.
He started with his own version of pepper steak. It was really simple and all he did was cut up green peppers and sirloin steak with some cayenne pepper. I also added triple pepper cheese with ghost peppers on top. We get that cheese from Wal-mart.
Greg also made breakfast for both of us. He cut up hard boiled eggs, and turkey sausage plus we added the ghost pepper cheese. I’m loving this meal.
I’m also obsessed with my bullet journal lately. Keeping track of everything is really cool and fun to do. The journal has more than just fitness stuff in it but that is my main focus this year. My main goal is to get back to a healthy weight and possibly get my body ready for another figure competition. We will see what happens this year.
The Apple Watch has a goal badge that I’m working to get this month. All I need to do it close all three rings for 7 days in a row. I’m sure I can complete that.
MyFitnessPal is getting a good go from me this year too. I’m trying to make sure my carbs are staying under 50 grams each day.
Between my home gym and Planet Fitness I’m making sure to get what I need to done. My cardio has not been as long or intense as I would like it but I will change that soon.
As long as I’m getting to the gym and doing my weight training I know everything else will fall in place.
Did I mention the weather is stupid lately?! We get snow one day, than ice and now we are getting ready for rain and temps in the 60s. Welcome to that east coast weather.
I’m glad it rained while I was at the gym because it cleaned my jeep up pretty good. All the salt from the roads had her dirty.
We got ice on the roads and because we will in a area with lots of hills and mountains they closed schools and I got the day off work. So, Greg and I have not been out during the week in awhile so we headed out for BBQ. No worries, all my food was in MyFitnessPal and I did pretty good.
So, I was able to even sneak in some Carolina mac & cheese without feeling guilty.
