Skinny Jean Goals was the topic of discussion in my house yesterday. The year has not started off the way I wanted it to but that’s ok. How would I know that I would be down with a cold/flu?!
I’m feeling much better now. The first 5 days of the month was not productive and I ate a truckload of sodium filled meals. I’m ready to get focused and start the new year off right. Just because I could not get started on the first does not mean I should give up.
I mentioned to Greg that I would like to go line dancing and he told me that he will when I fit in my jeans. He doesn’t mean anything by that except he is aware I’m not happy with my current weight so he is helping to push me towards my goal. I’m game and for a visual my skinny jeans are in the below picture. I miss those jeans 🙁
Last night was my first workout of the year and because we were expecting snow I did my workout in the basement. We have a decent home gym so I need to start using it more often.
For the first time in awhile, I did not feel rushed while doing my workout. I took time to really enjoy every rep. Workouts should not feel like a punishment. I recorded what I could and will do more of this in the daily vlogs. I think it will be good to see the changes in my body over time.
While I was doing my workout I decided that I really need to keep track of my fitness journey. I bought a book that I was going to keep vlog ideas in but now I’m going to use it as a fitness journal. I’ll show you my journal in the next post because I’m still setting it up. I wanted to do a bullet journal but I’m not that creative. I wish I was.
