Chores, Wine and Lush – 2016

Greg got a 30 pound watermelon from the store. He loves this time of year and who knows how much longer he will have to get fresh ones.

I did some speed cleaning today that needed to be done. I did enough in the house that I made myself a glass of wine to celebrate and relax with. It was also a perfect night to take a hot bath with a lush bath bomb.

Competition Is Expensive – 2015

It seems like each day is a new day for a new house project. We have tomatoes from Greg’s aunt and they were amazing. I hope we can start our garden next year.

I would like to compete again one day but it’s expensive. People don’t realize how much goes into a prep and how much it actually costs. The cost of everything can add up quickly.

#JeepLife – 2015

August 21st Day In The Life. I saw a jeep while I was on my way to work and someone had the windows and doors off of the jeep during the rainstorm. I miss those days when I was all about that #JeepLife 🙂

When I got home I found Digger tried to chase one of the crows and that scares me. So, I’m so afraid they are going to try to steal him out of the yard.

Diggy Pooh Vet Visit – 2014

Digger needed to go see the vet today. So, we were told that he has a bad case of arthritis. So, I will keep you updated on what changes we make to help him with all that.

Back At The Gym After Being Sick – 2013

August 21st Day In The Life. I’m so tired from prep and being sick lately. So, I guess my body is just trying to catch up, after all, that’s happened this year.

Teamwork Makes a Marriage Work – 2015

Today we went to look at the different pellet stove options we have to choose from. Greg and I were looking at using the real fire place but we thing a pellet stove insert will be better for us.

We got Digger a donut bone that he has not had in years.

Grandma Day – 2014

I spent the day with my grandson Tyler and it was a cool museum. The kids had to build a rollercoaster with different items they gave them. I’m just glad I was able to spend the day with him.

Greg went to a local grocery store and a woman tried to kick him out because he took a picture of food to ask if I want it. We can’t be the only people who do this and now the woman at the store was rude to us. I tweeted at the store and asked why this is an issue. They told me what Greg did was fine and it should not have happened.

Competition #2 Mission Completed – 2013

I’m so glad I kept a record of my competition experience this time. It’s cool to look back and reflect on it all. I did get sick after my show and I’ve been working on recovering since the weekend.

August 19th Day In The Life. It’s that time of the year when we try to use up the windshield wiper fluid. Greg wants to use stuff that will combat the ice or something like that.

iPhone Replacement and Major Car Accident – 2016

August 17th Day In The Life. We had to take my iPhone to the Apple store to see if they could fix it for me. Greg caught the squirrel on camera stealing my apples. I’m not ok with sharing the few apples we have on the tree so we need a resolution for this quickly.

Greg managed to fit the truck, boat and my car all in the garage. I don’t know how he manages to make those things happen.

On my way to the office there was a major accident. A drunk driver had an accident and his car caught on fire. It was a fatal accident.

August 16th Day In The Life. Greg and I did some shopping, ate and taco bell and did our usual day off stuff.

We had fun with the Window Scammer people again. They don’t give up very easily. They even asked how old I was. There are some days when I hope they call so I can be a jerk to them. Am I the only one who feels this way.

Husband Buys a Boat – 2016

We woke up this morning and found a fox in the trap outside. Greg will release the fox today and make sure he is ok.

So, I had the house all to myself on Saturday while Greg went to look at a boat. He was talking about getting a fishing boat and I’m excited about it too.

Greg did come home with a boat and it’s very nice so I guess we will do a video when I catch my first fish!!!

My First County Fair Experience – 2015

Greg took me to my first county fair experience. I really had a good time and saw a bunch of farm animals. I feel like my parents did not raise me right. All kids should go to the county fair.

Must Have Staples for my Diet – 2014

August 13th Day In The Life. Greg and I went on a train ride through Amish country in Pennsylvania. We were at the Strasburg Railroad. They had a drink menu but it was expensive.

We stopped at a few stores to see what kind of furniture they had. I found a few cute items but didn’t buy anything this time.

A Class To Brag About – 2014

August 13th Day In The Life. Greg sold his red Chevy Nova today. I’m feeling sad about it but Greg and I are looking to move and the Nova will not fit in with the new lifestyle.

Zumba class was awesome and it really was a class worth bragging about.

Fixing The Jeep, Kid Moonshine and Getting My Nails Did – 2017

Digger is doing much better and his eye is healing well. All week Greg has been working on the Jeep and giving it all kinds of love. There is a lot of work he is doing to it but I know he will get it all done.

While we we out earlier in the day we went to a liquor store we’ve never been to and found a few interesting wines. I saw fruit punch moonshine and the cashier thought I was talking about something for a kid. She warned me it was alcohol and not a kids drink. lol

We Got a PO Box – 2015

I’ve been waiting to get a PO Box for months and I finally made that happen.

My new case for my iPhone 6+ came in the mail and I was able to send back the wrong one.

We stopped at the old house Greg and I wanted to buy. Its beautiful and there was a woman who came by to feed that stray cats while we were there.

It’s A Massive Flood – 2014

We’ve had a lot of bad news recently. It’s beed hard to process it all and my mind has been running crazy with different thoughts and feelings.

We had some major flooding at the house. You could not see the road and there were things floating in the yard. We had waves moving towards the garage.

The Start of Peak Week – 2013

It’s officially PEAK WEEK!!!! I’m so excite it is here. This is when the far starts and I can start to pamper myself this week. I get to bling out this weekend and I can eat Saturday night!!!

August 10th Day In The Life. I’m so ready to make a change and leaving my current job is the only thing on my mind right now. It would be a major change in my life but I think it could be a positive one for us.

An Update On Digger – 2017

Digger is still having an issue with his eye so we are taking him to the vet tonight.

I got my free books today and I opened a book by Lisa Jackson called Expecting to Die.

The update on Digger is that they have him medicine and we will go back in 10 days to see how that heals. We think that he may be allergic to the leaves that he like to poop in.

Up To No Good – 2016

We were in the steak and potatoes kind of mood today. Greg was working on the grill and meal prep is all done for the week. There was a strange man walking around and I don’t like people invading my space. Greg thinks I am paroniod about things.

Greg The Electrician -2015

Someone in the house wants to give me a heart attack. Greg was working on getting the outdoor light working. I know he is good with fixing these things but it still scares the crap out of me. I stayed outside with him while he worked on it like a good annoying, nagging wife should do.

Don’t Steal the Copper Wire – 2014

Greg bought Fire TV from Amazon so we have a new toy to mess around with.

Our electricity went out and that is extremely odd because we are on the same wires as the airport. We found out why it went out and it’s a crazy story. Someone stole the copper wire to the substation and they got busted good for it.

August 6th Day In The Life. We went to my friend’s house and took her food from the garden. Greg also decided to buy a yellow jeep so we are officially a Jeep family and it’s pretty exciting. Even Digger liked the jeep.

Attacked In The Middle Of The Night – 2016

August 6th Day In The Life. Digger and I got into a fight last night. He wouldn’t let me get the bed and also refused to let me stay up in the living room. I guess his testosterone is high and that’s why he’s being a jerk.

I’m such an all or nothing type or person. It’s not always an easy thing for me to find a balance. My focus zooms in on one thing and that is my whole world. How can I get a better balance? I’m asking because I obviously don’e know how to get that balance.

That Mind Body Connection – 2014

August 5th Day In The Life. My workout was good today. It’s the first time is about a year that I did not struggle. I had that complete mind – body connection and everything just seemed to flow. The workout was my only focus when I was in there. I had no idea I was dreading my workouts as much as I was. Something clicked and I hope it just keeps clicking because I felt amazing after my workout.

Eat What You Grow – 2017

Greg dried and put some of our cayenne peppers in a mason jar so we can store them longer.

One of my favorite snacks during the summer is to have tomatoes with salt and pepper. Simple but amazing. Apparently, the squirrels feel the same way I do because they are eating half my freaking tomatoes.

We are still dealing with Digger’s eye. It looks fine int he morning but at night it seems to swell up a little bit.

Summer Cold and Leg Day – 2016

It’s so cool that the garden had produced so much for us this year. I had no idea we would get so much from what we planted.

I had an issue with my tire and when we tried to visit Sears they had nobody there because all the guys were fired or quit the auto center. Greg and I went to BJs tire center and they fixed the tire for free. That was cool and worked out to our advantage.

It was a leg workout day and I managed to get some workout footage to share with y’all. Leg day can be killer but I love to feel that burn.

Bad Customer Service – 2015

We went to Shoppers Market and there was another incident at that store. Some of the items rang up incorrectly. When I tried to use the app it wouldn’t work. He tried to show me how to use the app but he was clueless. I don’t think we ever got back to that store again.

On on batter note, I picked up some beautiful colored flowers. They make me so happy to look at.

The Squirrels Are Eating Our Tomatoes – 2017

My sleep has not been the best so I need to work on getting at least 8 hours of sleep.

Greg caught the squirrels eating my tomatoes now. We will need to get this taken care of. My man has been working hard to save what we can from the garden. I don’t know what we would do without the food saver and our extra freezer.

Digger The Punk – 2015

I wanted to show you how I store my costume jewelry. There is a necktie organizer I use for that.

Digger and I relaxed while we watched Greg work in the yard. He got bored quickly and left me. I just wanted to get a little sun but Digger was over it very quickly.

We watched a movie called Meeting Evil and it was a pretty good movie. It was already playing for awhile before I started watching but I was hooked fast.

July 29th Day In The Life. Digger is having a problem with his eye. It’s puffy because of his allergies. This is always a difficult time of the year.

Greg and I went to the liquor store and greg fell asleep in the truck. It was strange but we are home now and taking it easy now. He gave me a bit of a scare.

Welcome Home Digger – 2015

July 27th Day In The Life. Digger is the only thing on my mind lately. We are working on getting the house together so he comes home to everything being clean. We are not sure what happened but wanted to take all the precautions we could.

Digger has a bandage from the vet but he seems to be doing better.

3 Week Out Chat Update Figure Competitor – 2013

July 27th Day In The Life. I’m 3 weeks out from my competition and I’m concerned about my stomach. So, I posted pictures and why I am so concerned. I know I look better this year but you never know what will really happen.

I have decided to not weigh myself for the next few weeks. So, I’m going to compete no matter what so the scale does not matter to me at this time.

Ending My Staycation with BBQ – 2016

July 24th Day In The Life. I checked the garden this morning and everything is coming in just fine. I wanted to do a face mask but I think tomatoes are way better to eat than put on your face.

We decided to finish off my vacation with lunch at 3 Hogs BBQ. It’s our favorite place to eat. We order one thing and turn it into 4 meals so we can eat twice.

While we were at Walmart I picked up a few items for the home gym. They had a really good deal on some weights and other equipment.
