July 23rd Day In The Life. So, we went to the other side of town to check on a friend who recently had surgery. Greg and I stopped at the store and he was dancing through the aisles and just having fun. I’m so glad I caught that on camera.
We were able to grill when the rain stopped.
So, I started my new job this week and that’s super exciting.
We tried to fix the trap to get the groundhog. We are being invaded and we don’t know what else to do at this point.
Greg was putting me to work today. So much to do but it’s all good. So, today was a good day to pick berries. Greg looks like a bear searching for berries. He was in poison oak to get berries and I decided to stay in the Jeep while he was doing that.
I remember that one time that I had a splinter in my butt. It was an interesting oops on my part. lol
My First Fishing Trip – 2016
Today was my first track run at the high school. So, It was a decent workout and I got a good sweat going.
When I was a kid my mom had a tomato garden and my first one from the garden tasted like a slice of heaven.
Greg and I went out for a little while. He didn’t want me to know what the plans were when we left the house. So, he surprised me with my first fishing trip ever. It was a cool surprise and a fun experience. No fish were caught today but that’s ok.
July 20th Day In The Life. We decided to pick fruit today once the rain stopped. Greg and I have also decided to let the spiders live outside of the house. They kill mosquitos and I get welts from the mosquitos. We will take our chance with the spiders because we need them around the house.
Clean My Car – 2014
July 20th Day In The Life. I spent my morning cleaning and watching youtube videos all morning. It was also a meal prep day.
Greg was working hard on cleaning my car for me. He’s such a sweetheart and my car is super shiny now.
July 19th Day In The Life. We went out for a drive today. Our first stop was at a cool liquor store and we will have a liquor haul up soon. The second stop we made was at Conowingo Dam. Greg has been there many times as a child so he wanted to take me there. It was cool to see where he went fishing as a child.
I’ve been working on my inside and outside stuff. Taking care of my body and soul. It’s so important for me to be nice to myself.
My mind has been all over the place because of what is going on in the news and in Baltimore.
A Trip to the 50s – 2015
July 18th Day In The Life. Another car vlog day. It is what it is when I spend so much time at the office and driving my long commute.
Greg was cleaning in the attic and we found newspaper from 1952. It was so cool to see the ads and articles from back then. I’m so glad they left the newspaper there so we could find it.
I Don’t Want To Cut My Throat On Glass – 2014
Greg tried to help me add a windshield cover to protect my car from the sun. We will need to order a special one for my car.
The package from my foodie pen pal arrived and there was a broken jar. I had to throw away one of the jars because I did not want to cut my throat on glass.
It was another try at berry picking today. The window to collect all the berries we can is pretty short so we needs to get everything we can. My goal for the day was to not end up in federal prison. I think that was a valid goal to have.
It was a good picking day. Once we got home we diced up the jalapeno peppers and bagged them up to store in the freezer. Greg and I froze the berries enough to place them in food saver bags and store those in the freezer too.
Serious Accident – 2015
The county finally came out to fix the sinkhole that was starting in the driveway. We also had a bad accident that happened outside our home. There was a person who was hit by a drunk driver. The person who was hit was one of the workers that was trying to help direct traffic.
Boardwalk Bash – 2014
My office held a boardwalk bash for us. They will do things like this from time to time and it can be fun. Check out all the fun activities they had going for us.
July 16th Day In The Life. I feel amazing and I’m not sure why. Nothing in my life has changed except my attitude. The real lesson is that if you change your attitude you can change your life. I’ve also started a gratitude journal.
The peaches look so pretty on the tree but they are good too. Even if the peaches were bad I would say they were good because I grew them.
Making Meal Prep Fun – 2015
We watched a movie called Everything’s Fine with Robert De Nero and I was crying through most of the movie. It was really good but very sad too.
Greg and I found a cool antique store. I love walking through them because it just takes me back to a simple time. We even found a bunch of cassette players.
I was going meal prep in the kitchen and dancing around like a food. Even Digger joined me. I love acting silly and just dancing around the house.
I Don’t Know What I’m Talking About – 2014
I’m making Zumba my workout for the day. While I was out today Greg made me pork loin and it was really good. He was experimenting with some new ideas he had.
We found another groundhog and I’m afraid it will tear up everything we have in the garden.
We did our normal walk up to the garden and we have a lot of things that we need to pick. I also need to find out about the carb apple tree near the garden. The apples are really small and they taste sweet and sour. It’s kind of like sour candy and I love them.
I was putting mail in the box and I saw a little critter and I’m not sure what it is so if you know please share. We saw gas for $8.69 a gallon. That’s insane and I’m sure it was not correct.

While I was at the office Greg picked berries for me. I sure could get used to this. I forgot to close out my vlog but what’s new these days.
We Love Wifi – 2014
I’m dealing with issues using the wifi at work. It would be great if I could edit while at the office but it’s not working like I feel it should.
I love that my car has a USB port so I can charge my Fitbit while I’m driving around town.
July 14th Day In The Life. There was a guy who drove his wife to work and walked her to the door and I thought it was so sweet. It warmed my heart to see that this morning.

July 14th Day In The Life. We take our change and dollar bills and cash them in for Amazon cards. So, we had a little bit of drama with the process today. We won’t be using Coinstar in the future. That was a lot of money and drama to deal with.
July 13th Day In The Life. Greg pushed me to do the Snyders Haul because I was being lazy and we are getting rid of some of the items.

July 13th Day In The Life. I make a really good asparagus as a side dish. It’s simple because that’s the only way I like to do things. What side vegetable dish do you love making?
Digger was not in the mood to mess around with me this morning. There is a girl I meet on a community Facebook page and we got together to head to her favorite nail salon. It’s been a challenge to find a nail salon in this new area we moved to. It was a good day and I have a new friend in the area.

Daily Healthy Balance – 2013
I’m five weeks out from my competition and I feel pretty amazing. I was good all morning until I went o the store to look for avocados and I was almost in tears because there were none that were good enough to buy.
During my lunch I was working on my posing and I felt very confidant and then for no reason I looked at myself and was wondering why I’m even doing this.
My emotions are all over the place and I feel like I’m just on this crazy emotional rollercoaster. 5 more weeks of this.
We drove out to the mountains today to pick berries. I was recording the cows and apparently I caught one of them pooping on camera. That’s not something you see every day (unless you own cows) lol.
I had my hiking boots on because I have a fear of coming across snakes. We didn’t find any snakes this time but we did come across 4.5 deers. While we were near Camp David we saw government helicopters. I guess we should be happy we did not get yelled out for stealing berries 😉
A Perfectly Calm Day – 2015
We went to Snyder’s today and got a ton of items for under twenty dollars. I will do a haul soon to show you what we got.
Greg and I went to a furniture store and I found a chair that when you go to get up if springs you up from the chair. It was pretty cool.
We found a major pothole near the driveway that we need to call to have the county look at and fix. Hopefully they will take care of this quickly because with all the rain this could become a major issue.
Digger Ate My Breakfast – 2014
Time to change up my workouts so I took my run/walk outdoors today. I’m using a new app to show how far and fast I went. I’m not fast but I gave it my best try.
I started to explore the area around my office. There was a dragonfly that I came across on my walk. The area around my office was unsed for dirt bikes for years and now they are building and tearning down all the trees. It’s pretty sad when you think about it.

I made a change with my schedule for Friday’s with a co-worker. It should help me with my evening workout because they close early on Friday. It’s important that I can make it all work.
July 10th Day In The Life. I did 35 minutes are fasted cardio this morning and it was a pure struggle. I did manage to make it but it was not easy. Yesterday was a stressful day and all I wanted to do was break down in tears. I decided to take the day off work and just run a few errands. I need a mental break day. We saw a hawk or what we think is a hawk…this whole country living thing is new to me and I’m learning.
Confidance and Positive Attitude – 2013
July 10th Day In The Life. Fasted cardio this morning before heading to the dentist. I did progress pictures and measurements and it’s amazing to see how much I’ve changed and how much progress I’ve made in such a short time. All I can do is keep pushing myself and keeping a positive attitude through it all.
I had video footage from earlier in the day and I deleted it like an idiot.
Greg bought a dehydrator that we can use on the peppers so we can store them longer.
While I was cleaning today I came across a bunch of old protein powder that expired years ago. It’s not good to keep them that long. Time to throw all that expired protein powder out.
On a better note, we picked celery and pulled up the colored potatoes that we decided to grow this year.

There is a lot on my mind recently. I’m trying to make my workouts work with this new schedule.
Greg took my to the Hanover Foods Factory store. They have some interesting items and everything is priced well. It seems like each time we drive in Hanover Pennsylvania there is the same drunk woman from Maryland driving around. It’s pretty scary.
They Tried To Scam Me – 2014
They tried to scam me again with the Windows computer call. There are times I just enjoy giving them a hard time when they call. Please be careful if you get a call like this because they are trying to steal your information and charge you to fix something they helped you break.
We took Digger to the vet and he gets so excited to take a ride with us. He had to get a shot and they took blood from him also. It’s rough on him sometimes.

Work is stressing me out. I feel like each day I walk into the office it may be my last. Im all in my head and I can’t really focus of other things at the moment. It’s good that I can focus on something other than a work.
I have good people around me that are helping to keep me focused.
July 8th Day In The Life. Morning fasted cardio is rough when you get started with it but it does get better after the first week or two. My new work schedule is a lot to adjust to but I know that will be ok.
Our humidity is insane compared to some other areas. I’m callling Traci out for her comment about 30% humidity compared to our 90% humidity.
So, Greg has been getting fancy with his dinner ideas. He’s going a good job and everything is yummy.
The pepper plants are starting to get some blooms. There are so many different stages of growth in the garden. I get so excited when I see all the growth in the yard. We even have cucumbers growing and we didn’t even plant them this year. They started growing from seeds from last year.
I was so mad about the people walking through our yard this year. We need a few pitbull dogs or a drunk Uncle Jim to scare people away next year.
Moving Again?! -2016
Greg and I walked outside this morning and we found watermelon growing in the garden. This whole garden thing is so cool.
We took all our change to the store and ended up with lottery ticket funds. While we were out we saw a house I’m interested in. It’s very old but in a cool area of town and we could build a new house. We would keep the old house and use it as a store or something like that.
We are saving coffee grounds for the garden because it’s supposed to be good for it. Are we the only ones?
Sunday Shopping Trip – 2015
We went shopping for pot holder to put the pineapple plant in. Big lots had some place mats that I liked so we got those for the dining room table.
Healthy Balance – 2013
I was at the gym earlier and I asked for free ice from the juice bar and they did not charge me. I was more excited about that than I should have been. It’s the simple things in life sometimes.
July 5th Day In The Life. There were a lot of people gathering for the fireworks but we didn’t have to go anywhere or do anything to watch it. We have the perfect view. I had some wine and I was feeling good.
People who walk through my yard annoy me but next year I will have some pit bulls or something to keep them at bay.

July 4th Day In The Life. It is July 4th and we planned on just chilling today. We picked some raspberries for wine tonight. We watched the Nathan’s Hot Dog contest and were hoping Joey would win. USA, USA!!! Joey is amazing!!!
We watched the fireworks in the yard. We wanted to figure out how to scare people from walking through our yard next year.

87 Pages made a challenge to do 2 a days and I’m all about it. I love her and she’s cool. I wish we lived closer because we would totally be friends.
In non-fitness related news, Greg and I hit Snyders and Utz for snacks. It’s hard when you live so close to snack capital.
Greg was outside cutting the hedges. We found raspberries and I was so excited. I can’t even explain how I feel right now.
USA, USA – 2014
July 4th Day In The Life. It’s that time of the year to watch people stuff their face with hotdogs. I’m all about Joey and USA and he WON!!!! My day was made 🙂
All I have to do is get through 20 hours and I will be on an extended weekend. Greg made brownies that we are planning to take to his aunt. She has squash that she wants to give up and I’ve never had that before.
I understand why pumpkin costs so much because they take up a lot of room when they grow. have some respect for the pumpkin patches. It was a long and fun weekend. Pennsylvania is very patriotic and I loved it.
It was a fun weekend with family.
Digger is Signifying – 2015
It’s an extended holiday weekend and the last day of working a 5 days work week. Next week I start my 4 day work week. The day’s will be longer but I think the schedule will work well for me. It will be nice to do things with Greg in the middle of the week. On my way home there were a ton of cops out. I guess they are trying to catch people speeding this holiday weekend when they can double those fines. Oh weel, stay safe and have fun this weekend.
July 2nd Day In The Life. OMG, I was on the phone with microsoft for the majority of the afternoon and it was stressful. I am having issues with Office 365 and nobody wants to help me because I have a mac computer. I was pushed off to online chat support and then they pushed me off on phone customer support. I was going around in circles. I finally got everything resolved but it was not an easy task. They basically told me to google the answer. After dealing with them on the phone I needed a glass of wine to relax and calm down after all that mess.
No Regrets – 2015
This is the last week of work before my schedule changes. I’ve been working on making a good balance between work and life but it’s not going well. Greg is losing weight but I’m just maintaining. Maintaining is better than gaining but not where I want to be at the moment.
Apple music put out a new app and so far I’m loving it! It’s a subscription-based service and you have a whole music library at your fingertips.
Greg made chicken sausage with peppers and onions and we added some Hanover Complement Sides with it all. It was a really good dinner. Greg also cut up a watermelon and did meal prep for the week. He was on a roll.
I’m Not a Numbers Girl – 2014
Greg bought me a Fitbit so I’m using that with MyFitnessPal. I’m not a numbers girl but I think I will like all the tracking. It seems like will it will be a good thing. The Fitbit has so much cool information. You get how many steps were taken, calories burned, miles, weight goal, water, and sleep. I’m just loving it so much.
It seems like out search for the perfect property is never ending. We came across a log cabin on a few acres that we went to check out today,. We searched the grounds and peaked in some windows. I love the house but I do know that log hoomes take extra maintenance. Thwere were some good outdoor storage space and a huge garage on the property. I could see all my future goats loving this place. Greg and I stopped at a military guy’s place and picked up a cute bag that I can use to carry all my camera stuff when we head out to do things. I’m in love with the bag already. I also wanted to show off my posing suit so he can see the beading and how beautiful it is. I hope it will fit and I can wear it when I compete again.
He Missed His Mommy – 2015
I’m working through all the supplement samples I have. This morning I also found my probiotics and the multivitamins that I love. Digger greeted me when I got home and he missed me while I was gone. I love when he comes to see me when I get home. I feel so loved.
The car has a funky smell and I think it smells like mildew but Greg is going to look at it and fix it for me.
French Fry Drama – 2013
Greg is dealing with his kidney stones and I know it hurts. I’ve got my workouts to deal with because I’m in the middle of prep for my next figure competition.
I’m back on my 2 a day gym workout schedule. Fasted cardio is done in the morning and at night I do my weight training and more cardio. This year I will look even better than last year and I’m excited to see how everything comes together.
Google reader is no longer an option as a RSS reader so I’m trying to find the one that I want to use going forward. It’s not an easy choice to make.
At work today I had a girl tap me on the shoulder to ask me if I wanted a single fry…not multiple fries…just one. I’m pretty sure I would get in trouble for slapping a co-worker but I really wanted to. lol. This is the stuff that happens on a daily basis in this office. I should write a book one of these days. We checked out Sams Club and we feel like it will be a good experience. It was good and we are thinking we will need to cancel our Costco membership.
We got a watermelon from Sams Club and it was a good one. We found out the chipmunk is eating my peppers and I’m so mad. To add to my anger Greg gave me bunny ears when we got our Sams Club card. The girl who took the picture didn’t even let me know. She just laughed at me. What is going on in the world??!!!?
Cabbage Soup From The Garden – 2016
Today was a pretty chill day. We went to Walmart and on the drive I had a brilliant idea for a baby name and if Greg and I were to ever have a child (WE WON”T…but if we did) I would name her Alley-Sin…like Allison but Alley-Sin. Ain’t I cleaver? After we got home from the store I picked some cabbage from the garden and made cabbage soup. I’ve never made it before so it’s all a learning porcess but I think the soup came out pretty good for my first try.

June 28th Day In The Life. We took Tyler out to the mall and he’s a turd. The water is starting to backup in the street and even the yard. Greg is doing his best to make sure we can resolve the heavy rain fall. The basement and the garage are looking good.
Greg was soaked from being outside to check on everything but we are ok.
Greg and I made the most amazing spicy burger using a lot of fresh items from the garden and it looked pretty amazing too! We got all our things together for a day of fishing at Pretty Boy. I caught another fish but it was a little one so we released it back into the water. The last time we went fishing I got sea sick and the plug for the boat was lost so it started filling up with water. That was a scary moment and one I will never forget.
Grandma and Grandpa Weekend – 2015
Tyler is spending the weekend with us. Greg went to the store to get everything we may need this weekend for him.
Greg took Tyler out on the tractor on he was trying to run me over but they were having fun. Digger was so excited to see him.
NPC Maryland East Coast Classic – 2014
We kind of decided that we are happy where we are at and will not be looking for a new house. Well, Greg is still looking but I’m not going to stress about it anymore or less.
I went to the NPC Maryland East Coast Classic. So, I had to pay 4 dollars to get through a toll. I feel like I live in New Jersey.
The show was good and motivating to watch. I left after pre-judging and it was hot outside by the time I left the show.
No Longer a Diabetic Healthy Balance Daily June 27, 2013 #TBT – 2013
We have BIG news! Greg went to the doctors today and found out he is no longer diabetic. It’s a big news day for us and I’m so very proud of him 🙂
Greg is working on a new project to help me put the camera in my car so I can do car vlogs.
Oh, the garden looks amazing and the cabbage looks yummy. We have tomatoes coming in. There is a lot of food so people can come over for free cabbage, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Our garden has exploded.
Greg and I went looking for a shed. We need something for all the yard equipment. We are also considering buying a Jeep Wrangler.

Greg did some shopping and picked up some cool items we can try for dinner. I opened a new facebook account and I wanted to move my pictures from my old account to the new one. It’s crazy to see all the changes made over the last few years.
Finding a Healthy Balance – 2013
I miss calculated how much protein I had. I thought I had more than I really did. It was a good thing I had egg beaters so that is what today is all about. I really enjoy them and they taste so good! I made it work and that’s what really matters the most.
Don’t make excuses just make it work. You can do anything you set your mind to.
Greg and I took the jeep out and went looking for rasperries and bears in the mountains. He also wanted to look for a property that has no internet at all. Where we were in the mountains has no service at all. It’s actually kind of crazy because we were right by the cell towers and still have no service in certain spots of the mountain. On our way back home from not finding any bears or berries Greg and I stopped to check out the Monocacy River. The area is so beautiful and peaceful.
Motorcycle Rant – 2015
So, I was driving home and I call them a motorcycle but they are really those crotch rockets. Not all people who drive motorcycles are idiots but some are so watch out for them. I think some just have a death wish and need to be careful they don’t take others down with them.
Finding a Healthy Balance – 2013
I love the vapor fruit punch pre-workout and it reminds me of cherry kool-aid. I was on the hunt for a good pre-workout and so far I’m loving this one.
My girlfriend who helped talk me into doing my first show just did her show and she flipping ROCKED IT!!! I’m so proud of her!
NPC Maryland State East Coast Classic Championships 2017 – 2017
Today was the NPC Maryland State East Coast Classic Championships and I went with a good friend of mine. I picked her up in my jeep wrangler (with the top off) and we had a great day watching the competitors. There is something about watching a show that makes you feel inspired. I love when I go but over the last few years we’ve been so busy and I have not made it to as many as I would like. My friend gave me a posing suit to try on but my only concern is making the boobs fill the top out. I guess I will try it on to see how it looks. The suit is very beautiful.
Driving Home During a Tornado – 2015
I woke up this morning and did fasted cardio on the treadmill in the home gym. My meals were all packed and ready to go for the day. On my drive home from the office there was a tornado that was heading south and I was driving north. I was heading straight into the tornado and it was very scary. I could feel the shaking in the car. So, I did make it home safe but it was a little scary.
