Oh man, Can you believe I Caught My First Fish?! I’m still in shock.
The part I was not able to capture was when I almost fell off the boat from excitement. Oops, I think I almost gave Greg a heart attack. Every single time I get any attraction tot he line is when I use worms so that is my go to fishing must-have. Hey, you have to go with what works and so far worms have not let a girl down.
I honestly expected to catch small minnow and never even considered the crappie as an option. It was pretty darn exciting!
Last year when we got the boat the time was spent getting used to the water and learning how to cast the rod out now I’m catching fish. Who would have guessed it!
Greg did not do any fishing yesterday because he was busy playing around will all his new gadgets he got the boat over the winter. He has a trolly motor that he can maneuver with his foot plus he has a fish finder that he is working out the kinks with. I did not use the finder to catch my fish though. I hear a splash and threw my worm in its direction. You know, old school style. Lol
Greg was proud of me even when he made fun of me. So, we got home and I was told to remove the fish from the boat. It’s not easy. Who knew those suckers were so slippery. It was an interesting experience for sure. The next time we go out it will be Pretty Boy or Liberty and from what I understand there are a lot more fish but they are harder to catch. We will have to see if they like worms.
Ok, I will leave you a video for your viewing pleasure 😉
