I love all kinds of books. Scary stories that would be considered mild by some are the exact type of stories I love. It’s when your own imagination starts tot take off that makes the difference. Once I got started I could not put the book down. I actually love that the setting of the book started at the cemetery. We are actually looking to live near a cemetery (in a small town) so it has a special meaning for me.
It was a little slow readying for me because the beginning was descriptive (a little too much for my liking) but once you get past the first few pages I promise you will get hooked in and start to fall in love with the characters in this book. Don’t let the fact that this is the second book in a series stop you from reading it but
nothing is stopping you from reading the first book. I’m actually going to purchase it myself this weekend.
There are a lot of characters in the beginning but they all come to play a little later in the book. If you are like me you may just want to make a character list. Lol. It’s one of the best things my third grade teacher ever taught me.
Let’s face it, the weather is getting colder (you want to curl up with a good book) and it’s almost Halloween time so in honor of my mother who was born on Halloween (and it was her favorite holiday…duh!) I think
you should get the book and celebrate in her honor. It was my mother who pushed reading and helped me find my love for all types of books so I won’t go on any more about the book because I don’t want to give away the story. If you like a little mystery and are getting in the holiday spirit I think you should give it
Disclosure: I got this book free as a review copy. Just because I got this for free doesn’t mean I have to give an amazing review. I write about what I like and don’t like without any feeling of obligation to the publishers.
Regardless, you ought to know when I get a book for free.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
