Happy New Year Everyone! I spent the night at home with my husband and Chihuahua. I would not have it any other way.
Now that we are in the new year and the holidays are over I want to share with you my plans for the new year. Making myself a better person one month at a time. I am not sure what they are all going to be but my plan is to make positive changes in my mind, body and spirit this year. They say that a habit can be formed after doing something for 21 days straight. That’s why I feel like if I can focus of small changes for an entire month that I can make myself a more centered person and be better in all parts of my life for it.
So, this month I am going to meditate. I have never done this before and I am not going to obsess over it having to be perfect. I am just going to take a little time in the morning and the evening everyday to have nothing but quiet and push all thoughts out of my mind. Also not thinking about my to-do list or work stress just me and the quiet.
If you want to join in with me on this year long journey that would be great. You don’t need to do the same practice as I am. Just do something this month (it can be big or small). The main focus is to do something that will make you a better or more centered person.
