Yesterday was our 18 year anniversary and we are still going strong. We spent the day in Pennsylvania doing some shopping and went out to lunch. For years we could only get out for adult time when the kids were in school so lunch is our thing. I enjoy it better than going out for dinner because I think it’s more quiet and intimate during lunch hours.
I tried to add a little curl to my hair. What do y’all think? Is it a good look for me? I’m still trying to adjust to this short hairstyle.
We decided to go to Longhorn for lunch because it’s been years since we’ve been and Greg likes to try different types of foods now. In the past, he was a very picky eater so we would never try anything out of the ordinary.
He let me pick the appetizer so I went with the brisket nachos and they were BOMB! Our waitress suggested it and I’m glad she did. This was really good.
Lunch was a burger and fries so something simple but delish!
Once we were home Greg started to cut up the last batch of hot peppers so we can dry them before they all go bad. It usually takes 24 hours to have them done but this is a large batch so it will take 48 hours.
He wears several layers of gloves to keep the peppers off his hands and from burning him up later but it does not always work. The peppers are just so dang spicy but we love it anyway.
Ok, I’m going to end this here because I have lot’s of things on my to-do list for tonight. So, have to get ready for work in the morning. I hope you have had a good week and we will be back again tomorrow.
