Keeping with the theme of my days off we spent yesterday cleaning and worked on prepping the garden. New flowers are popping up all through the yard. Even Digger loves the flowers he even keeps them watered. Lol
We have found a ton of rocks in the yard, and we are planning on using them for a fish tank. Greg made fun of me because I don’t know the difference between a red robin and a cardinal. Some of you may know that we live in an area that had rich civil war history. There is a huge oat tree that I just know soldiers had to sleep under. I will not be surprised if we find bullets in the ground one of these days. It’s wonderful that our property has so much history.
I understand that it may take a few years to enjoy it all and I’m totally okay with that.
We took digger outside to show him the new flowers that were coming up and this picture was snapped right before he decided to mark my flowers. Grrrr! I can’t help but love him even when he tries to destroy my lovely flowers. Lol
Greg and I went to Home Depot to look at plants for the garden, and most of the tomato plants were dying so hopefully we will find better ones this weekend at another place.
One of the main things we did yesterday was working on getting the rocks out of the dirt so we can plan this weekend. So, check out the daily vlog to see the cool contraption we made to sifter the rocks. Also, Greg made it and in the process saved us around $50.
