Dreaming of the Farm Life – 2014
Greg and I spent the day in the country and I dressed appropriately for the occasion. You can’t head out to the country without overalls and plaid. We put together a bag of clothes for charity before we left. While we were going through clothes he found out that he can still fit in his military pants.
While we were driving on the highway Greg decided to test the cruise control but we dropped down to 40 miles an hour while everyone else was doing 65.
We stalked the house I want to buy and Greg figured out how to work the cruise control without having to look at the book. I would call that a productive day.
Our neighbor’s kid came over for a short visit and told us he will help us clean up the new property (if we get it) and pick up all the sticks in the yard. I spent the rest of the day finishing my DIY lightbox project. We will see how this works out but I did feel productive.
Two a Day Gym Visits – 2014
I had ice on my windshield this morning. I’m trying to track my daily steps with an app on my iPhone but the app was annoying so I deleted it.
Usually, the trainers from our office gym get everyone to move on Wednesday in the afternoon. They tried to get everyone to do squats and there was a girl who was not able to do the squats. I told her to go until it hurts and she will get better with time. She realized what I said and I did the squats with her so she would not feel strange or alone. It turned out well and she realized that she is not limited as much as she thought. It made us both feel good to know that the only limits we have are the ones we set for ourselves.
