I feel like I am jumping into a cold ocean without a life jacket. We will see how this all turns out. I am going to Fitbloggin’ 11 this year and have decided to join in on the fun and run a 5k. This is a problem for me because I HATE cardio but I am determined to meet this goal. It’s one
that is on my bucket list anyways so I might as well take this opportunity to cross it off. I’m excited about making the decision to join in this year, and I do admire people who can run marathons. I wonder what makes them push through it…what makes someone love running. When I was younger, I would love to walk for hours but never run. Walking gave me a chance to think about life and dream. I wonder if runners feel the same way I did about walking?
I sent my trainer a text yesterday and told him what my goals were for running the 5k, and we are going to make it happen! I’m happy with my choice! Even though this year is going to be crazy. I am setting myself up to do a lot of new things this year (am I crazy?) I guess time will tell….
So, as I was writing this post, my trainer called me to talk about my workouts. I said that I am keeping positive because the scale has been nice to me this week. I’m trying only to weigh in when he needs me to on Monday mornings. I am doing pretty good with my foods. Workouts in the morning are weights and cardio at night to get me prepared for the 5k.
I will end this post here because it is time for me to eat my next meal. So, et’s be honest and say I can’t miss that!
