We got an early start yesterday on the fruit trees and decided to would work in the garden Sunday. Also, we had to start by picking up all the sticks, old plant/tree roots and rocks that were in the yard. It still feels like this job will never really get done but we did a pretty good job of it.
We put the rocks in Greg’s truck, so we could move them down to the front of the yard where the ground is washing away.
Here is proof of our work. Also, just look at how dirty my gloves got.
Plus the look on my face should tell you I was working hard.
So, Greg didn’t get off easy either because that tiller can put a beating on you.
While we put the trees in water for 4 hours. So, that was when we tilled up the yard. We knew it would take about 4 hours to get the ground ready for the trees. Perfect timing.
So, we did not mess in the actual garden, but we did see a lot of ants. As a result. we put corn meal down to assist in getting rid of the ants.
It was a long day. So we picked up some chipotle. In conclusion, I would call that a good day 🙂
