Howdy! I hope y’all had a great extended weekend (if yours was extended). Greg is going to end up in jail if he is not careful. Maybe I’m just a little anal about the whole setting the yard on fire thing. I just don’t see how we did not have the police come knocking on our door. It’s possible I still don’t understand this whole country living thing.
It all started with a subcontractor for the gas and electric company that came out to cut down our tree. We called them to let them know it was touching the lines so they offered to trim or cut it. We decided to cut the tree down because a tractor trailer hit it over the winter and the tree was dying.
So, Greg asked them to cut down a stump and when they did that we noticed a ton of ants and termites. The solution Greg came up with was to set the stump on fire.
I had to stay close to it just to make sure everything was ok. I really hate fire to the point I’m surprised I will even light candles.
Everything is fine and the cops not called. I guess we can call that a success.
Oh, I have a green thumb or at least I can say that I can grow sunflowers. I thought I planted them a little too late in the year but they seem fine now. I think they are pretty cool and it’s exciting to see them grow in our yard.
So, I know I did not get a chance to tell y’all on here. I’m doing an 8-week competition prep. When I did my first competition in 2012 I did not start until Labor Day weekend. It was 8 weeks before my show so I figured this would be perfect. I’m not positive I will actually step on stage after the 8 weeks but the plan is to give it my all. Hopefully, I will be where I was in 2012 or better at the end of the challenge I’ve set for myself.
I tried to work with my old trainer but if felt wrong this time and I’m not sure why.
I have my starting weight and plan on daily vlogging this whole process. Well, I have meal prep done for this week and I’m ready to kick it into high gear. I need to get some sleep this evening so I will see y’all later. Check out the recent vlog below.
