The cold is starting to hit Maryland and I’m in hibernation mode. I guess it doesn’t help that I’m starting to get sick so all I really want to do is crawl under the covers while everyone else is cleaning their house and hitting the gym. I’m just trying to rest my sick little body as much as possible.
I’m sitting at work waiting for the “bell” to ring so I can leave “class”. The last two weeks have been extremely slow and the people that do need my help are all grumpy and I really don’t feel like dealing with it. On Friday I had a light bulb moment when I decided that Chipotle for my last lunch of 2014 would be a great idea and it really was.
Yesterday my office was closed, so I did some cleaning, laundry, and cooking until I started feeling ill. I’m also trying to do my OOTD no matter how uncool my outfit may be so that I can be aware of what I’m wearing each day. The worst part about the cold is that I prefer to live in sweats all winter long. I’m planning on doing a monthly video with my month in outfits.
Don’t you just love my cute winter socks? They are so comfortable.
Last night Greg made some chicken noodle soup with those egg noodles, and it was the perfect “I’m not feeling well” meal. I even pack some today for lunch.
We also added the thyme that I got for review in my VoxBox. I will be doing a post on the box this weekend so look out for that one.
Every year we would get a desk calendar in the office. The last two years it’s been like pulling teeth to get one. So, I just asked Greg to pick one up at the dollar store for me. Look I already how a countdown to the Shawn Ray 2015 show. It’s 32 weeks away, and it will be here in a flash.
When I got home, I had a package from ActivMotion Bar, and it looks like it’s going to be a great addition to my home workout routine. I hope to test it out this weekend and give you a first impression after using it. If you can’t wait, you can get a first look in my daily vlog below.
