I’m behind on daily vlogs and updating everything because I’m trying to clean up all my social channels. The goal is to set up the office with a new desk so I can be more productive. Currently, I sit in the living room on the couch and work non-stop. I have no off switch, and it’s causing problems, so I need to find a better way.
I’ve been searching online for a plain white desk, and I think we will end up at IKEA this week. I will let you know what I decide later this week.
Going back to Wednesday, Greg and I went over the Bay Bridge to the Eastern Shore for lunch and to visit friends and family. Our first stop was Cracker Barrel for lunch.
Greg and I love to share chicken and dumplings. The first time we asked to share we thought we would get strange looks but now it’s normal for us and if people think something strange they don’t act like it. Sharing our meals works best for us, so we don’t overeat, and nothing goes to waste. The savings is just a bonus.
Once we finished lunch, we drove over to see Greg’s longtime friend and we talked him into eating a ghost pepper. I was not able to get that on video, but it bothered him so much that when he got up to stand he had a dizzy spell and had to sit back down. He learned that hard way that drinking after the pepper is a bad idea. The water seems to intensify the heat.
We talked Greg’s son into eating half a ghost pepper, and we did video that one. He spit it out, but the burn was still there. I’m glad he at least tried it.
I’m sure we won’t get either one of them to ever eat another pepper, but it was fun to watch them try the ghost peppers.
The rest of the night was calm. I had two more days of work before my staycation, so my only focus was to get through the rest of the week. I mentioned in the vlog that we were going to have wine, but we never did. Check out the recent vlog Serving Up Ghost Peppers below and we will see you tomorrow!
