Last week was a difficult one. Once Friday rolled around I really just wanted to crawl in bed and cry. I won’t go into all the mess that’s been going on. I’ll tell you about the unplanned weekend that turned out to be just what I needed to feel refreshed and ready to face this new week. On Saturday we decided to head towards the Catoctin mountains so we can catch some of the leaves changing colors (the joys of having all 4 seasons).
We saw a trail to get to the waterfall so we decided to make an afternoon of it and go for a walk.
We found the waterfall and as we were leaving we found a spot that Greg can go fishing. It’s such a peaceful place…I’m in love!
On Sunday we went apple picking for the last time this year. I guess it was a good thing to do because all the apples are starting to fall off the trees. I guess this was not a good year for fruits at the orchard. We still managed to find some apples but the pickings were slim.
I called the orchard the apple graveyard because that’s what is actually looked like.
